Lesson 3

One-Minute Self-Pitch

Hi, I’m Gao Shuai-Pin, an automation engineer so skilled that even fans spin for me! I’ve been immersed in coding and logic for three years, completing every task to ensure machines operate efficiently.

Six months ago, I developed a lightweight system to predict equipment failures. Surprisingly, this innovation significantly boosted efficiency, reduced repair costs, and earned me the company’s annual Outstanding Employee Award. The bonus wasn’t huge, but it was enough for ten movie nights with plenty of popcorn!

In my free time, I enjoy classical music, humorous novels, and poking fun at sci-fi films. For example, I joke, “Shouldn’t that alien debug its algorithm?” These hobbies spark my creativity and patience, helping me remain professional and articulate under pressure at work.

A great engineer requires more than just coding skills. He also needs to be skilled at communication and teamwork and have a talent for making meetings more enjoyable and less like “debugging” sessions.

Suppose you need system development, process improvements, or just a charming and tasteful engineer for coffee. In that case, I’m your guy—Gao Shuai-Pin.

I may not play video games, but I will deliver top-quality solutions to ensure your peace of mind.
